This is the part where I’m supposed to show you pictures of me to convince you how professional and perfect I am
It’s totally working right?!? LOL
I’ve looked at hundreds of photographer’s websites
since I started this business and if I were like everyone else I’d just be making a list of:
• My fave TV shows to binge
• The fancy Starbucks drink that “I totally run on”
• A declaration that I love tacos
But I’d sooooo much rather be real and you deserve to actually get to know me for real!
When I trained horses for a living I named all my wheelbarrows
20 years ago my best friend and I backpacked the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu and paddled a dugout canoe up a tributary of the Amazon and flew a 4 seater Cessna over the Nazca Lines and the memories of that month are among my most prized possessions
I once purchased an absolutely enormous and ridiculously bright colored ballgown for the sole purpose of jumping on a trampoline in it. TOTALLY worth it!! I later ran a 5k giant inflatable obstacle course in it 🙂
I’m way more dorky than I am cool…
well, really, I’m mostly dork… ok, like, fully dork…
My hair literally never looks like the Instagram influencer girls hair. Ever.
I’m the loudest voice in the room… as my best friend lovingly jokes, ‘I don’t have an indoor voice’
I am not 20 something
I occasionally laugh so hard I snort.
Do not expect someone perfect and cool and polished and poised to show up, lol… but really, that sounds super intimidating and a big happy dork is much more comforting anyway 😉
I’m here to help you live your best life
Don’t get me wrong, 23 years olds who are dominating Instagram and Tiktok with endless reels of their perfect selves and lives are adorable… but if you hire me you are not getting a “perfect” 20 something Instagram influencer.
I’m totally OK with being the one in the background so you can be the one to shine; handing you coffee and insisting you hydrate and holding your dress when you have to pee in the jungle and taking off my sandals and barefooting it so you can protect your feet when your cute shoes don’t cut it and rocking the most messy pile of hair on top of my head you’ve ever seen so it’s out of the way and I can fuss with your hair the entire time.

Anything worth doing is worth doing deeply and with meaning. Ceremony is so much more than a piece of paper… what makes my heart the happiest is seeing couples dive deep into these moments and in connecting to one another without holding anything back. Life is too short to not pour your whole heart into it
having fun
Being in the moment, being fulling yourself and laughing without a care in the world should always be a priority!
There I was, on top of a cliff, alternately bawling and squealing in delight, covered in butterflies
and just overwhelmed with gratitude.
I have no idea how I am so blessed but these incredible humans and the beautiful miracles I get to witness every day just blow me away.

Ok, so the thing is… I believe that life is far too beautiful and precious a gift to drink Starbucks when there is such amazing coffee on this earth. It’s all about small, local shops or trucks, so dark it looks like midnight on a moonless night and some fresh coconut cream – mmmmmmmm!
